About Anthony

Anthony R. Tullis was born on September 2, 1988 and passed away on  August 14, 2014 at the age of 25. Anthony was a resident of Brooten, Minnesota. Anthony was an amazing brother, son, cousin and friend to so many in the local community. Anthony was known for being an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting and trapping. Anthony started wrestling when he was in kindergarten and continued through high school. Anthony was a 2007 graduate of B-B-E. Anthony was always a team player and enjoyed the competition. He loved passing down the knowledge of the outdoors to the younger generation. Anthony is loved and missed by many. He was a person who brought out the best in everyone he was around and would give the shirt off his back to help out a stranger. He would give you his last dime and ask for nothing in return. Anthony’s motto was always “I got your back.”

The Anthony Tullis Ice Fishing Tournament is held every year in honor of Anthony Tullis, aka “Tully” on middle Norway Lake, the lake he grew up fishing, camping and loved unconditionally. All the proceeds from the tournament each year go to local outdoorsmen/wrestlers to help with the cost of college. It is a way we can all help to keep Anthony in our hearts and prayers while helping others achieve their goals in what Anthony loved so much in his short time with us. This is a time for everyone to remember Tully and all the warm, wonderful memories everyone has of him. He had an incredible love and passion for life and his friends and family that will live on in everyone who knew him.
